A Few Words from Our Families

From Dan M.
"I'm so happy with my son's growth and development since starting at Muck & Wonder. We enrolled him before he turned 3 and he's now turning 5 and preparing for kindergarten. The teachers are very warm and caring. They really get to know the kids individually and develop special bonds. My son has made great friends and his social and emotional development has been wonderful to watch! The teachers build community and encourage parent involvement through events and volunteer opportunities. We will truly be sad to move on from M&W when the time comes!

“We love how caring, responsive, and wonderful the teachers are! Our daughter loves to come to school and talks about all of the teachers at home. It feels great to know she feels cared for and loved while exploring and learning.”

”Muck and Wonder has been more than a school to us—it has been like a second home, an extension of our family, for our little one. The atmosphere and philosophy at Muck and Wonder is so different from anything else I've seen—it's a really special place. It brings together families with aligned visions of conscious parenting, kindness, compassion, love for (and respect of) nature, celebrating uniqueness, and supporting kids through connection, exploration, and play. It's been a true gift to get to be a part of this community, and I hope many future families get to feel the same eternal gratitude that we will be leaving with when our little one graduates to Kindergarten. My little one started as the youngest kid, and is now one of the oldest, and it has been a joy to watch him grow in so many beautiful ways and develop his voice and personality through his experiences here.”

"Muck and Wonder is truly an exceptional school--the unique space and focus on outdoor play provide a rare chance for kids to explore, get dirty, and learn through nature. The staff is incredibly caring and conscientious, and the approach prioritizes the individuality of each child and where they're at. Our family has loved our 3+ years at Muck and Wonder."

"Peyton LOVES being able to spend time with friends, listening to music and discussing her daily activities. She has been learning healthy boundaries and using her words when she gets "big feelings" and "needs space." We love that she gets to learn so much about animals and plants and she is thriving in this environment. Thank you Muck and Wonder!"

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our family at Muck & Wonder. After nearly four wonderful years with our two little ones, we’re so sad to be saying goodbye as our youngest heads off to school. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this special program through word of mouth, and we're so grateful for the friendships, memories, and experiences we've had along the way. The teachers truly love and care for the children as if they were their own, and it shows every single day. One of the best signs of how much our kids love it here? Even after spending the entire day at Muck & Wonder, they still ask for "just five more minutes" to play before it's time to leave. Muck & Wonder gives children the freedom to simply be kids - to spend their days outdoors, exploring, creating, getting muddy, and learning through play. They come home happy, dirty, and full of stories, which is exactly how childhood should be. We will always be thankful that our children got to spend these formative years here. We can't recommend Muck & Wonder highly enough, and it will forever hold such a special place in our hearts!”

From Mitch H.
“Muck & Wonder provided our child with the skills and maturity to navigate the world after preschool. Our child's curiosity was nurtured through outdoor play, imagination, and community. We never felt like our child was another number or abstract name, but a distinct individual with their own needs and desires taken into consideration in any decisions made on their behalf.”
