Christine Tudor is a life-long learner and a child at heart who embraces curiosity and the joy of discovering new perspectives, facts, and skills. Working with young children continually inspires her, as their beginner’s mind reminds her of the magic in learning. With over a decade of experience in early education and a B.A. in Child Development from Sacramento State, Christine believes in child-led, play-based learning and views children as competent, curious individuals. As educators, she feels their role is to facilitate and nurture children’s natural drive to explore the world.
In her free time, Christine enjoys adventuring outdoors, playing instruments, singing, and gardening. As a child, she loved playing with natural materials, spending hours collecting and constructing with rocks, twigs, and leaves. Now, she delights in providing open-ended play experiences and marveling at children’s unique, creative use of materials.
Children have taught her the power of silliness to make life better, a lesson she treasures. Her favorite adventure has been scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef, a memory she holds dear as a lover of the ocean.
