Frequently Asked Questions:

  • We can serve children two years old through six years old.

  • Families can get on our waitlist and if we have availability/openings, we will offer your family a tour. To limit the amount of people and disruptions in the classrooms, we offer tours when there is availability and your child is age ready. Thank you for understanding!

  • Snacks: Muck and Wonder staff will provide a nutritious snack daily each morning and afternoon. Children will rotate in to help with snack and serving. Our snack menus will be posted our parent communication platform: Lillio.

  • Nope! We completely support and respect each child’s timeline on reaching this BIG milestone. As with all development, it happens on individual timelines.

It’s not a race and the age of mastery is not an indicator of anything other than a child’s own readiness to take that step. Our role is to be in communication with families and support the journey for each child.

  • We deeply believe that teachers need rejuvenation and rest. During this time they spend time with their children and families. This is crucial for personal renewal and our team is paid during all closure days.

Our school is closed, state and federal holidays, and observes SCUSD calendar.

We are a year-round school and open in the Summer months.

Our closures include: Thanksgiving week, a week of summer closure and two weeks for winter break.

We are most grateful for these periods of rest. These breaks allow us to avoid the use of substitute teachers and maintain our level of loving inspired teaching day to day.
